Yella Cross The Dog is a collection of original songs and classics of the pre-War blues, recorded by Rod jook Jones and Travellin' Trevor Bailey, and forms a kind of pre-history to the Deptford Saints project. It was all recorded on analogue equipment, with old tube amps and guitars dating back to the seventies and even the fifties in one case - mainly first takes, and certainly no computer sequencing or cutting and pasting. It doesn't sound like anything Simon Cowell would approve of, that's for damn sure. Serving suggestion - try it with a cold beer.........
All songs copyright T. Bailey/R.M.Jones 2005
